University Appeals and Complaints
Disability Accommodation University Appeals Procedure
Students who disagree with eligibility or accommodation decisions made by Disability Services may appeal the decision. The appeal must be submitted to the director of Disability Services in writing within twenty business days of the date of the decision. Further appeals will proceed up the line of report in accordance with the university’s established practices.

Employees who disagree with eligibility or accommodation decisions made by the Benefits in Human Resources may appeal the decision to the associate vice president for Finance and Administration in writing within twenty working days of the date of the decision. A copy of the Employee ADA Accommodation Policy and Procedures is available online.

Discrimination Complaints
Georgia State University adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 that was enacted to protect individuals with disabilities against discrimination. A student or employee of the University who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of their disability may file a complaint with:
